1. What Castalia is

Castalia is a venture evaluation platform. It gives founders, venture studios, and investors access to the SVIE OS framework — a structured, evidence-based system for making better venture decisions. The platform uses Google Gemini AI to evaluate answers against the framework and produce scored results.

Castalia is a tool. It provides structured evaluation outputs based on the information you give it. It does not provide legal advice, financial advice, investment advice, or regulatory advice. Any action you take based on your Castalia evaluation is your own decision.

2. Who can use Castalia

You can use Castalia if you are:

• ·18 years of age or older,
• ·using the platform for legitimate business evaluation purposes,
• ·providing accurate information to the best of your knowledge.

You may not use Castalia to evaluate a venture you do not own or have authority to represent, or to generate materials that misrepresent a venture to investors or other parties.

3. Your account

Creating an account

You can create an account with your email address and a password, or by signing in with Google. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. Do not share your password.

Your data is yours

The evaluation data you enter into Castalia belongs to you. We do not claim any ownership over your venture information, evaluation answers, or generated profiles. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your data.

One account per person

Each account is for one person. You may evaluate multiple ventures on one account, but you may not share an account with other people or create accounts on behalf of others without their knowledge.

4. What the platform provides — and what it does not

What Castalia provides

• ·A structured evaluation experience based on the SVIE OS framework.
• ·AI-generated scored results, flags, and Decision Gate outcomes.
• ·An executive summary and investor-ready venture profile.
• ·Specific strengths, risks, and next actions identified by the AI evaluator.
• ·Access to the ecosystem pool (Tier 2 and Tier 3 features, when available).

What Castalia does not provide

• ·Guarantees of investment, funding, or business success.
• ·Legal, regulatory, financial, or tax advice.
• ·Confirmation that your venture is compliant with any specific law or regulation.
• ·A substitute for professional advice — always consult a lawyer, accountant, or advisor where the decision has significant legal or financial consequences.

The SVIE OS framework reflects the knowledge embedded in it at the time of publication. Regulatory environments change. Market conditions change. A Conditional Go today may become a Pause if the regulatory landscape shifts. Castalia is not responsible for changes in external conditions after your evaluation.

5. AI-generated content

Your evaluation results are generated by Google Gemini AI, guided by the SVIE OS framework. AI systems can make mistakes. The output reflects the quality of the inputs you provide and the state of the AI model at the time of generation. You should treat your Castalia evaluation as a structured starting point for deeper analysis — not as a final verdict.

Castalia is not responsible for any business decision you make based solely on AI-generated evaluation output without independent verification.

6. Sharing your profile

By default, your venture profile is private — only you can see it. You can choose to make your profile discoverable to Tier 2 and Tier 3 partners on the platform. When you do this:

• ·Your scored profile (scores, flags, executive summary) becomes visible to matching partners.
• ·Your detailed evaluation answers remain private — partners see outputs, not inputs.
• ·You can withdraw from the ecosystem pool at any time, and your profile will be removed from discovery within 24 hours.
• ·Partners who have already accessed your profile before withdrawal may retain notes they made during that access.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• ·Provide false or misleading information in an evaluation to obtain a more favourable result.
• ·Use Castalia to generate fraudulent materials intended to deceive investors.
• ·Attempt to access another user's data or evaluation results.
• ·Reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract the SVIE OS framework for use outside the platform.
• ·Use the platform in any way that violates Kenyan law or applicable regional law.
• ·Attempt to circumvent any security measure on the platform.

8. Intellectual property

Castalia's IP

The SVIE OS framework, the Castalia platform, the scoring methodology, and all platform content are owned by Castalia Kenya Limited. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from these without written permission.

Your IP

Your venture information, business ideas, and evaluation responses are yours. You own them. You grant Castalia a limited licence to process and store your data to provide the service — nothing more.

9. Payment (future)

The Minimum Viable Evaluation is currently free. When paid features are introduced (full evaluation, Tier 2/3 access, document generation), we will clearly display the price before you are charged. You will always have the option to continue using the free features without upgrading.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Kenyan law, Castalia's liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. If you are using the free tier, that means our liability is zero.

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss — including lost profits, missed investment opportunities, or business decisions that did not work out as hoped — arising from your use of the platform.

This does not affect any rights you have under Kenyan consumer protection law that cannot be limited by contract.

11. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from your account settings. We will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We can suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. We will tell you why, and you will have the opportunity to appeal, unless the violation involves fraud, illegal activity, or immediate risk to other users.

12. Changes to these terms

If we make material changes to these terms, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before they take effect. If you continue using Castalia after the effective date, you are agreeing to the new terms. If you do not agree, you can delete your account before the changes take effect.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Kenya. If you are in another jurisdiction and a specific provision of your local law conflicts with these terms, the stricter protection for you applies.
